Command An Army Summons and Special Troops
Spins, Samurai, Scout Rider, and the inventory cap that turns luck into clutter.
Not every Command An Army troop is a straight shop Shieldman. The launch passes include Skip Summon Spin and +50 Inventory Space. Creator clips include Spartans versus Samurais and a Scout Rider counter. That is a summon-and-specials layer sitting on top of the infantry core. This page is how to touch that layer without wrecking the roster you need to win.
If you have not built the wall yet, leave this page and open the gem planner. Spins are a second shop, not the first.
Why Skip Summon Spin exists
A pass that skips the spin animation means rare troops can arrive through a roll. It does not increase odds. Buy it when you are already spinning and the animation is the pain. Buying it on minute ten of getting started is how you skip an animation you should not be watching yet.
Samurai
Samurai is a named identity with a matchup video against Spartans. Treat it as elite infantry flavor, B-tier on the troop list. Field it after Shieldman, Spearman, and at least one closer exist. A Samurai in a blob is a costume. A Samurai in a formed line is a unit.
Do not rebuild the Castle circle around Samurai unless a patch says the circle wants it. The named circle is still Spartan, Shieldman, Spearman.
Scout Rider
Scout Rider is the disruptor people recorded a counter for. That is the compliment and the warning. If you main it, expect prepared backlines. If you hate it, do not chase it off the point — that chase is the trap. Stay on the capture, keep Cavalry from peeling, and let the Rider waste time. Details sit with the counter clip on troop tiers.
Scout Rider is not a wall. Do not buy it instead of Shieldmen because it looks fast.
Inventory is part of the roster
+50 Inventory Space exists because summons duplicate. A cap problem is a command problem: you cannot order what you cannot find. Delete:
- Duplicates of a unit you already cannot micro.
- Mystery rolls you cannot name a job for.
- Pre-release brain that thinks 300 troops is the live target.
Keep:
- The circle trio.
- A Cavalry reserve.
- One disruptor you actually understand.
If the cap is still the blocker after that diet, the pass is honest. If you have not dieted, the pass is a larger junk drawer.
Spend rules for spins
- Redeem codes.
- Buy wall and spears from the regular shop.
- Buy Cavalry if listed.
- Unlock Spartan via shop or a limited spin budget — how to get Spartans.
- Only then roll for Samurai / extras.
- Stop when the match checklist is fieldable.
Gems in a spin you cannot explain are gems that did not defend Castle.
Scripts that “auto roll”
Auto-summon scripts will appear because the pass exists. They are the same ban-risk as auto-kill. This wiki will not pretend they are a roster strategy. See scripts and script safety. A banned account cannot field Samurai.
Specials after a patch
If spins get a pity or a new banner, this page updates through updates. Until then, assume no pity, assume inventory pain, assume Samurai is optional. The army that wins launch week is still a wall with a closer, not a museum of every silhouette in a thumbnail.
Roll last. Command first.
A worked example
You redeemed 1,400 gems. You bought a visible Shieldman rank and a Spearman funnel. You have 200 gems left. That remainder is a Spartan attempt or a single Cavalry, not five Scout Rider rolls. If the shop lists Spartan, buy it. If it does not, one spin is a gamble; five spins are how the Castle circle never gets finished.
After a Samurai lands, put it in the line next to Spartans. Do not start a second formation. Do not chase a 1v1 in the lane because the embed on this page is a duel clip. The clip is identity. The match is still a capture.
If Skip Summon Spin is on sale and you already failed three animations today, then the pass is a quality-of-life buy. If you have not failed any animations because you have not spun, the pass is a hat you wear in the shop. Keep the Robux until Step 5 is real.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, troops, and match setups.
Should I buy Skip Summon Spin first?
No. It only skips animations. Build a wall with codes gems first.
Is Samurai better than Spartan?
Not for the named Castle circle. Samurai is a B-tier identity summon until a patch says otherwise.
How do I stop Scout Rider?
Do not chase. Hold the point and backline. See troop tiers.
Is the inventory pass worth it?
After you delete junk. If the drawer is still full of mystery rolls, the pass just enlarges the mess.
